I was very apprehensive and nervous at first because I didn’t know whether I would be able to participate in all the activities. However due to Sharon’s encouragement to do what you can at your own pace and the encouragement of others I was surprised that I survived the first workout! I thoroughly enjoyed the session and therefore I wanted to attend more sessions, so I joined. It was one of the best decisions I have made regarding my health and fitness when I decided to try Sharon’s session.
There have been a few personal achievements since joining Inspiring Strength in Women. The first one would be the 2019 City to Bay where I completed the 12km walk in my best time ever! I would not have achieved my best time if I didn’t attend the studio training sessions. Some other achievements are winning two challenges that Sharon creates to keep us on track. One challenge was the 2017 Fit for Photos and the other was the 2020 Quaranteam challenge with my training buddy, Pauline.
The best things about attending Inspiring Strength in Women include the small group training where Sharon can challenge and encourage you to do your best. She keeps you focused and challenged as well as having ‘fun’. Sharon is very motivating and inspiring and takes the time to support you in achieving your goals. She provides a variety of exercises therefore each session is different yet challenging. Everyone is friendly and supportive and makes you feel welcomed.
Overall, I have lost weight and my fitness has improved immensely. My future goals are to continue to improve my health, strength and fitness as I want to be as fit and healthy as I can be.
